Monument Lake Campground is situated around Monument Lake. Tent sites are located on the west side in an open field with a few palm trees scattered about. The area is level and covered in soft grass. There is plenty of room for tents. In fact, it’s not really clear where one site ends and another begins. Monument Lake Campground was a peaceful and beautiful location for a weekend stop over. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and the camp ground was completely full but very quiet and impeccably clean.
