In 1990, while still playing for the Dolphins, Offerdahl opened a bagel store, Offerdahl's Bagel Gourmet, in Weston, Florida. It would become the first of 10 locations. In 1995, Offerdahl merged with three other bagel retailers to form Einstein Bros. Bagels, a national chain.
The plan was to create a national bagel monopoly by bringing together several of the biggest bagel chains in the country. Before the first Einstein Bros. Bagels, a national chain. Cant Beat the Bagels Here. John Offerdahl has a great business sense and we're glad he got back in the business after selling off his Award winning concept many years ago. His Grill serves up great breakfast and lunch and still the Best Bagels around.

They are absolutely still my go to for bagels. We have catered several brunches and we always get bagels from Offerdahl's. The bagels are always cooked perfectly and while it is not a NY bagel it is absolutely better than most in the neighborhood. 2. About once a month I get a bagel brunch or a full and 1/2 bagel brunch for work or home.
